Police in Mponela, Dowa have arrested two men for defiling three minors.
The suspects have been identified as Dadiko Josam ,46 years who hails from Kasuntha village in the area of Traditional Authority Kayembe and a 16-years-old boy who hails from Kachere village in the area of Traditional Authority Kayembe in Dowa District.
The two committed the offence at Kasuntha Trading Centre.
Facts are that on this fateful day Josam took all the three minors to a nearby bush and defiled them and while in the course of undressing the first victim, the second suspect discovered them red handed and was offered K5,000 to conceal the deal but instead opted to have sexual intercourse with the first victim.
After defiling her, the victim revealed the ordeal to her parents that the first suspect had previously defiled all the victims and thereafter he could give them K500.
It has also been revealed that the first suspect has been defiling the three victims since some months ago
The two will appear before court soon to answer charges of having sexual intercourse with minors which contraveness section 138(1) of the penal code.
