The Anti Corruption Bureau ACB has urged journalists to report more on corruption prevention as a way of protecting national resources.
Principal Public Relations officer for ACB Egrita Ndala gave the call in Mulanje at the day long corruption reporting training for Blantyre Press Club members on Friday.
Ndala said Journalists are crucial in changing people’s mindset, and educating the public on corruption prevention.
Blessings Kanache, president for Blantyre Press Club said the training was an eye opener to most of the upcoming Journalists who have always concentrated their reporting on arrests and prosecution of suspected offenders.
Some of the topics covered during the training include: ‘Role of the media in the fight against corruption.
