Director of Health and Social Services(DHO) for Nkhata-Bay, Dr. Mwatikonda Mbendera has tested positive for COVID-19. The DHO, who tested positive for the virus last evening, told our reporter Alex Banda in an exclusive phone interview that he is in self-isolation at his home. Dr. Mbendera has since asked all his contacts to go for testing, stressing that Covid-19 is real.
